We’re delighted to announce that bookings are now open for the VCEL Third Sector Annual Conference 2026.
Taking place on Wednesday 11 November 2026, 9AM-4PM this year’s conference theme is:
From Talking to Doing: East Lothian in Action
The conference will bring together Third Sector organisations, community groups, volunteers, public sector partners, funders, trustees, and community leaders from across East Lothian for a day focused on collaboration, practical solutions, and collective action.
Building on the discussions and connections developed through previous conferences, this year’s event will focus on how we move from identifying challenges to delivering meaningful change for our communities.
Attendees can look forward to:
- Inspiring keynote speakers
- Interactive Action Labs and facilitated discussions
- Networking opportunities with partners from across the sector
- Sharing ideas, experiences, and best practice
- Exploring practical actions to strengthen collaboration and community impact
Marketplace Update
To create more space for networking, discussion, and interactive activities, there will not be exhibition stalls or marketplace stands at this year’s conference.
However, delegates are encouraged to bring:
- Pop-up banners
- Flyers and leaflets
- Information about their organisation, projects, and services
to handout and be shared with fellow delegates throughout the day.
